Dalia Xiuhcoatl is a Mexican actress and multidisciplinary artist from Iztapalapa, Mexico City. Raised in a home deeply rooted in Indigenous culture and Mexican rituals, she developed a deep respect for tradition. This connection led her to study Náhuatl, which enriched her artistic perspective and strengthened her bond with her heritage.

A standout moment in her career was her role in the Prime Video series El Zorro, directed by Javier Quintas, where she made history as the first-ever "female Zorro." Dalia has also been featured in acclaimed projects such as Esto no es Berlín (directed by Hari Sama), Putrefixion (David Torres), La señora de Jesús (Jesús Muñoz), Wetiko (Kerry Mondragon), and Luna negra (Tonatiuh García).

Her artistic journey began at the age of 10 with dance, which later led to formal training in contemporary dance at the National Institute of Fine Arts. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Choreography from the Choreographic Research Center at the same institution. After completing her dance studies, Dalia transitioned to acting, further developing her craft with Teatro Lúcido, where she performed experimental theater, and House of Mamis, where she discovered voguing.

Beyond acting, Dalia’s passion for art drives her exploration of poetry, fashion, writing, and combat arts. For her, art is essential to life, and she believes acting is a vehicle for personal and societal progress. “The character chooses you,” she reflects. “It urges you to understand it and fully immerse yourself in its world.”
