Luis Curiel was born in Mexico City and began his professional career at the age of eight. With experience across film, theater, and television, he has built a versatile acting career spanning commercial productions, independent films, and international streaming platforms. He trained at Sergio Jim\u00e9nez\u2019s acting school and later joined the 2016 generation of the ANDA Actors Guild, further complementing his studies with mentors and institutions such as ENAT and the CCC<\/p>\n
His television and streaming credits include El Chapo and Control Z on Netflix\u2014earning him a PRODU Awards nomination for Breakthrough Actor\u2014along with Un Extra\u00f1o Enemigo and Cometierra for Amazon Prime, and projects for HBO, Sony Pictures, and Apple TV.<\/p>\n
On stage, he has appeared in more than ten productions, including Si Muero Lejos de Ti, Pez Globo, and the national tour of the comedy La Obra que Sale Mal. In film, he has worked on projects such as Olimpia, directed by Jos\u00e9 Manuel Cravioto and winner of the 2020 Ariel Award, as well as internationally released titles like Fuga de Reinas and Contraataque for Netflix.<\/p>\n
