Andr\u00e9 N\u00fa\u00f1ez, an actor from Cuautitl\u00e1n Izcalli, Estado de M\u00e9xico, discovered his passion for the arts through painting, piano, and drums, but acting truly captivated him at 13. Passionate about portraying characters who give voice to unheard stories, Andr\u00e9 says, “I dream of creating stories that challenge perspectives and leave a lasting impact beyond the screen.”<\/p>\n
He gained recognition in Fernando Cattori’s short film Nacimos Llorando (2023), which won Best Long Short Film (LGBTQ+) at the LA Film Festival and earned nominations at the 1.4 Awards and the 2024 Latin Grammys.He recently completed filming La Vida de Ahora, a feature film that marks his debut in this format, directed by Alejandro Zuno, one of the most prominent emerging voices in Mexican auteur cinema. The project is currently in post-production.<\/p>\n
Andr\u00e9 continues to strengthen his craft through film workshops and cinematic laboratories, maintaining ongoing acting training primarily with acting coach Mar\u00eda Fernanda Bosque. In parallel, he is pursuing a degree in Creative Writing and Literature at the University of the Cloister. Empathetic, cheerful, and endlessly curious, he finds inspiration in music, meaningful learning experiences, and deep conversations.
