Víctor Estrada is an actor from Nayarit, Mexico, known for his role in Radical (2023), a feature film directed by Christopher Zalla that was part of the official selection at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. The film also participated in festivals like Morelia and Málaga, where it won the Best Ibero-American Film Award.
Víctor’s artistic journey began thanks to his high school teacher, who sparked his interest in dramatic literature, writing, and acting. During his school years, he was involved in a local theater company. Additionally, he was a high-performance athlete for over ten years, which taught him discipline and focus, qualities that have shaped his artistic career.
He earned a degree in Theater from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, where he developed his acting skills. His body of work includes short films like El amor no existe (2018) and Perturbado (2019), both directed by Fernando Fisher, as well as the series Tijuana (2019), directed by Hammudi Al-Rahmoun Font. For Víctor, it is important to “bring characters to life that are real people, serving as a tangible bridge to transcend in the lives of others.” More recently, he appeared in the series Gringo Hunters, directed by Adrián Grünberg, set to premiere in 2025 on Netflix.
Outside of acting, Víctor is passionate about calisthenics, cycling, and skateboarding. He draws inspiration from everyday experiences and values the creative processes that allow him to explore his body, voice, and emotions with each new project.
